Carl-Fredrik Gylseth is the fifth generation owner of the manor, which he took over from his grandmother and grandfather Gunvor and Svenn Gylseth in 2008. Since taking over, extensive restoration work has been started around the gardens, and great emphasis has been placed on restoring the manor to the classic style that the building had previously.
The guest house has 10 rooms sharing two bathrooms and a toilet, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. There are three deluxe double rooms located in the recently renovated basement of the house. There are two terraces and a large garden that all guests have access to. All guests have access to a washing machine and dryer.
Sakrisøy Old Manor opens its doors to hundreds of tourists who visit Lofoten every year. They do their best to meet their guests’ requirements, and we provide the best service you can get at a guesthouse.
