Reine i Lofoten, 8390 Reine

If you’re looking for a “get-away-from-it-all” – a place where very few people have been, then you should come to us. We can’t promise you’ll be alone, but we can promise you that the others came here for the same reason.
40 comfortable cabins with a historic feel and historic names. All have their own kitchens, and many guests want to fish and cook for themselves. But we also have a restaurant where you can enjoy fantastic food without touching a thing. And we’re a completely different place for meetings and conferences.
In the western part of Lofoten, at the entrance to the Reinefjord, you’ll find the fishing village of Reine.
Here, the majestic Lofoten mountains and the Arctic Ocean are our closest neighbors.
In summer, a rorbu holiday with us can offer endless days and midnight sun, and in winter short days with spectacular weather and northern lights.
Reine attracts photographers from all over the world. When magazines and advertisers want to show something that’s genuine and uniquely beautiful, they use images from Reine. I’m sure you’ve seen the motifs we show here.
Reine is a story about people who clawed their way out and defied living conditions we can hardly imagine in our time. The rich sea gave them food on the table and income to live on.
