The historic Lofoten in miniature

Welcome to an authentic fishing village. Nusfjord is one of Norway’s oldest and best-preserved fishing villages with long traditions of Lofoten fishing. We’ve provided extra facilities for sport fishing and cooking, otherwise we’ve left Nusfjord as it was.

46 charming fishermen’s cabins, two restaurants and many different meeting rooms make Nusfjord a destination for anglers, tourists and meeting participants all year round.

Imagine spending the night in a real cabin

In Nusfjord you will find most of the buildings that were in use when the fishing village was one of the country’s most important reception facilities for fish. We offer 46 traditional cabins for accommodation in authentic surroundings. The cabins vary in standard and can accommodate up to 11 people.

Hold large meetings in Nusfjord

Nusfjord is a unique meeting place for knowledge sharing and team building. Meeting participants live in the fishermen’s cabins, while the modern meeting rooms are located in exciting lofts and a former clipfish warehouse. Shared well-being is good motivation.

Choose the restaurant or self-made food in the rorbua

All the cabins have modern kitchen facilities and are equipped to prepare self-caught fish. Restaurant Karoline offers a tasty and exciting alternative to home-cooked food. In Oriana kro – Nusfjord’s own pub, simple tasty dishes are served.

An exciting place for food and experiences

Experience the historical buzz of the place. Feel, see and experience the everyday life of fishermen and landowners. Here, your soul can settle down in a magnificent natural setting that you can’t experience anywhere else. After a visit to the sea or a hike in the mountains, you can enjoy our gourmet chef’s elaborate dishes or eat home-caught fish in your own rorbu. Or simply sit down and relax with a cold lager, glass of wine or mineral water/coffee of your choice.
