This is the place to take a break and enjoy the experiences that Lyngvær Lofoten Bobilcamping has to offer.
Here, the peaks rise around 1,000 meters above sea level, the fishing lakes are right up in the mountains and the campsite is right on the Vestfjord.
The ideal conditions for all types of adventure vacations or a few days of relaxation in extremely scenic surroundings.
Since the campsite is located in the middle of Lofoten, there are opportunities for day trips both ways, west towards Leknes, Stamsund, Nusfjord, Reine and Å or east towards Henningsvær or Svolvær.
As our guest at Lyngvær Lofoten Bobilcamping, we will do our utmost to give you a pleasant stay.
My activities
- On the islets just outside the campsite, there are several lagoons and bathing beaches that you can use for walks or swimming in peaceful surroundings.
You or your family can, for example, go for a walk in the mountains and experience all the fantastic Lofoten nature has to offer, or rent a boat in Henningsvær, Svolvær or Stamsund and go “Lofoten fishing”.
- In the fall, there are also good opportunities for seabird hunting or grouse hunting in the mountains, as well as berry picking.
- Why not rent a boat or canoe and go fishing in the local area?
- Or maybe you don’t want to go that far to go fishing?
Then that’s fine too, because we have two fishing ponds for self-fishing, as well as a smokehouse where you can cold or hot smoke your catches.
There’s also a washing and gutting bench for the fish.
- There are also very good fishing opportunities from land or from rental boats.
- The fantastic midnight sun simply has to be experienced.
You can experience it by going to Rystad (about 7km from the campsite) or to Eggum.
- By driving about 2 km towards Svolvær, you can experience one of Lofoten’s finest sandy beaches.
