Nappstraumen is known to be one of the best fishing spots in Lofoten. Here you are almost guaranteed to catch fish even though there may be few fish to be had elsewhere. Here you can catch cod, saithe, haddock or halibut, depending on what time of year you visit. The halibut in particular has made this a popular area for anglers!
You can also rent a boat from us (including life jackets), and you can rent fishing gear. Included in the rent is a chart plotter and fishfinder, where we have plotted the best fishing spots on the map for you! Lofoten offers experiences of a lifetime, and our cabins and holiday homes are located right in the middle of the city.
We also offer accommodation in fisherman’s cabins in Skreda by Nappstraumen, just 5 kilometers from the airport at Leknes. The fisherman’s cabins contain a living room, kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms (4-6 beds). TV with the national package. All the arches are of a very good standard.
