For most people, Lofoten is synonymous with fishing and climbing. Only the most extreme ski alpinists think Lofoten. The truth is: Lofoten is an eldorado for everyone who likes to ride Telemark and does not like lots of people and long queues in the lift. Anyone who has alpine touring skis will find Lofoten a magnificent area.
There are opportunities to do simple hikes, traverse across the island or pure summit hikes from the high tide and all the way up to the highest peaks. You can also find challenges for those who like longer hikes and steep slopes. Until now, it is mostly only between Europeans who have found us. They cannot find simple words to describe their experiences, Lofoten is described in pure dissertations by phone or email home.
With years of experience and local knowledge of countless slopes in all levels of difficulty, from normal to extreme, we now offer guided tours in Northern Norwegian nature at its best. It is your practical and theoretical knowledge that determines the choice of trail and the length of the trip.
We go on a trip with 1 guide per 10 participants for groups that are experienced, but will in some cases not go out with more than 5 participants per guide if lack of skills in participants requires it.
