Join the adventurous and legendary Lofoten fishing in Svolvær!
Every winter, large numbers of Norwegian Arctic cod, also called Skrei, swim from the Barents Sea to Lofoten to spawn. Lofoten fishing has been the livelihood of the population here, for at least five thousand years. This type of cod, called Skrei, is the type of fish that the Vikings, our ancestors, used to make stockfish.
Today, Lofoten fishing is one of the world’s largest and most famous cod fisheries!

Join us on a fantastic trip from Svolvær to the Trollfjord in a RIB, and experience the Lofoten archipelago with steep mountains, islets and reefs!
The Trollfjord is the destination that is visited by the most tourists in Lofoten in the summer.
The high-speed RIB boats allow our guests to see a lot in a short time. We make several stops along the way where we orient ourselves geographically as well as historically. This journey is rich in stories and experiences! In addition to the dramatic nature, the Trollfjord is also known for the Battle of the Trollfjord, which is very central to Northern Norway’s fishing history. The stories about the Trollfjord have fascinated and inspired a number of well-known writers and artists. Johan Bojer, with the book “The Last Viking”, and the paintings of painter Gunnar Berg.
On the way to the Trollfjord, we drive through Raftsundet, which is especially known for its large population of sea eagles. With a wingspan that can reach a whopping 2.65 meters, this is Northern Europe’s largest eagle!
If we are lucky, we can also see whales, porpoises, basking sharks and seals.
This tour is well suited for the whole family!
If you want a private tour or a group tour, we also offer this all year round, on request.
If you are pregnant or have back problems, you are recommended other nice experiences in Lofoten.
We have thermal flotation suits, life jackets, gloves, goggles for wind pressure against the eyes, as well as hats. We recommend warm clothing for the rest of the body outside the summer season.
In late autumn, through winter and early spring, the wind can be quite brutal on exposed skin on the face and hands. We therefore offer helmets with full-coverage visors and winter gloves
