Beaches in Lofoten
Lofoten can offer not only some of the most beautiful beaches in the country, but also the largest.
Between Svellingan in the east to Bunestranda in the west, they are in a row. You’ll find them partly along the road; Rørvikstranda at Henningsvær, Kallestranda under Vågakallen, Haukland beach at Leknes and the crescent-shaped and chalk-white beach at Ramberg.
If you go out into the archipelago, you will find a myriad of small and large sandy beaches.
So maybe it’s too cold? No, 13 to 18 degrees is in many people’s opinion the perfect bathing temperature. Just give it a try.
