Ready for the Lofoten International Photo Festival (LIFF) for the fifth time!

March 9-12, the Lofoten International Photo Festival (LIFF) kicks off with a solid program in Kabelvåg and Skrova.

This is the fifth time that world-class photographers have met an engaged audience in Lofoten, and it is the visual stories that are in focus. Since its start in 2013, the festival has found its form with the main arena in Galleri Lille Kabelvåg and at Arbeidern in Kabelvåg, and in collaboration with SOPS (Skrova Outdoor Photo Spot) at Skrova.

The program starts this year with the opening of two photo exhibitions by American Corey Arnold and Swedish Loulou d’Aki at Galleri Lille Kabelvåg on Thursday 9 March at 19.00, followed by the official opening and film screening at Arbeidern at 8.30 p.m.

On Friday and Saturday, Arbeidern opens at 17.00 and there are lectures from 18.00. On Friday, Norwegian Marius Nyheim Kristoffersen, Danish Marie Hald and the well-known adventurer Børge Ousland will present their works. On Saturday we meet Håvard Bjelland, Loulou d’Aki and Corey Arnold.

On Sunday, the trip goes out to Skrova, where a permanent installation with the pictures of Heidi Wexelsen Goksøyr will be opened.
