Lofoten Fishing Festival 2017

The Lofoten fishing festival in Skrova is organized from Friday 30 June to Sunday 2 July.

The first festival was held in 1989 and was one of the first festivals held in Vågan municipality.

The festival has modernized since then, but the basic idea has always been the same – a social and pleasant event for permanent residents and visitors. True to tradition, there is the Kainappen on Friday and a fishing competition on Saturday with prize giving for young and old. In collaboration with KS Ski Lofoten, hill races are organized in Skrovafjellet. This is a race in connection with the Advice carousel, which is a popular event in Lofoten.

As always, there will be good food served, and a party for the adults.
