Ingeborg Rishaug took the beautiful walk with her family, admiring the view along the somewhat unusual road.
This is a road built by the inhabitants of Storfjell so that the innermost farms could be driven by tractor from Storfjell.
Storfjell had a quay where the local boat docked from Svolvær.
When Lofast was a fact, the inhabitants applied for a road from Hamn to Storfjell approx. 6 km this was granted by Opseth and all landowners then gave up their properties so that the road could be realized and today you can drive to Storfjell.
This is one of the hidden gems in Lofoten.
