Many of Goksøyr’s projects relate to the three basic elements of water, air or earth. A puzzling look at the well-known is characteristic of many of Goksøyr’s works. This links her to a surrealist pictorial tradition. At the same time, her works are characterized by a strong sense for the formal means and for the sensuous qualities of the motifs.
The images are presented in two disused advertising mast towers that the association has inherited from the advertising company JCDeuex in Oslo. The towers have been the subject of much criticism in the capital due to its dissemination of large commercial advertising campaigns. The pillar towers are now located by the gymnasium on the island. In their new function, they will light up the dark times with Goksøyr’s images and become a new landmark for Skrova.
