The festival is organized this year from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 May, with a dense and good programme.
– We feel that we have a very good programme, with both Norwegian and foreign artists. We have the pleasure of getting the Stavanger band Eric Slim Zahl back. They are one of Norway’s best blues bands, says festival organizer Trine Mentzen.
Adam Douglas is one of the highlights.
– We are also very happy to be able to present star match winner Adam Douglas this year. He has become a major artist in Norway, and is a true bluesman.
– The implementation of the festival will be as before. New this year is that we will have Friday concerts at the wooden factory, and we are really looking forward to this, says Trine.
As in previous years, there are five different venues around Henningsvær, with both morning, afternoon and evening concerts.
– The turnout for this year’s festival is great, – so we are betting on full houses and a good atmosphere throughout Henningsvær, says Trine.
There is a bus from Svolvær every evening.
– As always, there is only one thing to say, and that is that we are really looking forward to it, and welcome everyone, says Trine.
