Laupstad in Austnesfjorden
Laupstad is a village at the end of Austnesfjorden on Austvågøya.
Laupstad has a primary and secondary school and a kindergarten.
Road E10, runs through Laupstad towards the municipal center of Svolvær and West Lofoten in the southwest, and towards Fiskebøl and Raftsundet in the north and east. Lofoten’s highest mountain, Higravtinden (1146 m), is located on the municipal border between Vågan and Hadsel, just east of Laupstad and Higraveidet.
