Golf in Lofoten

Lofoten Golf Links is an 18-hole golf course located right by the open sea with an unobstructed view to the north and the midnight sun. The pointed Lofoten mountains and the ever-changing Arctic light give you more than just a round of golf. The sea is water hazards at several of the holes and sandy beaches act as natural sand bunkers. Lofoten Golf Links is a find for nature enthusiasts. Seals, weasels, otters and foxes can be seen right as they are on or near the track. Birds such as white-tailed eagles, grouse, oystercatchers, starlings, ducks and seabirds such as cormorants, gannets and eiders are seen daily on the course.
The line is located on Gimsøy in the middle of Lofoten, approx. 45 km southwest from Svolvær and approx. 50 km northeast of Leknes. If you want to drive to the golf course, follow the E10 to Sundklakkbrua on Gimsøy where you turn off and follow the signs to the course. Driving time is less than an hour from most accommodation facilities in Lofoten.
